Cord & chain tension devices for child safety
All our window treatments are compliant with Health Canada’s Corded Window Coverings Regulations. For more information on corded window coverings policy, click here. Tension devices are always provided and must be properly installed to keep cord/chains tight to prevent possible entanglement and strangulation. In addition, if the tension device is loosened from the wall or window frame or is pulled out entirely, it must be reinstalled promptly as the tension device will disrupt the cord or chain and prevent the window treatment from operating properly.
